Nazareth (Basilica of the Annunciation)

A small village of Galilee, never mentioned before in biblical or historical sources. Luke calls it City. Nazareth became an important pilgrimage destination to first Christians who converted the House of Mary to a Judeo-Christian synagogue and then several churches were built in the same place.

Everything started here. The Verb became a flesh and inhabited among us. The beginning of God's salvation plan. This is the small village where he lived, grew up, worked and became to be known as the carpenter by his fellow citizens
